Sunday Morning Weigh In - Dedicated to DON!
Pre-Op Liquid Diet -262 2/3/11
Surgery Weight-248 2/14/11
Current Weight- 180 6/13/11
RNY And feeling great. New to the mens forum. What is a FART? I do have real farts all day and I don't mind it all all. I was playing in a poke tournament last week and I did not take responsibility for the powerful odor even after one guy asked the floor man if there was a penalty for farting.

A FART (all caps) is a Men's forum acronym for Fantastic, Awesome, Remarkable, Terrific event on your WLS journey. Buying smaller pants, running, fitting in a coach plane seat, finding your "junk" w/o a mirror etc all are FART's.
Interesting strategy to fart, (lower case, regular meaning) at a poker tourney. Do you win more pots?
Never, and I mean NEVER, trust a fart!!

276 - 06/12/11 (down 135 lbs total, but none for the week)
Not a great week, weight loss wise, but at least I held my own. Had a couple of days where I ate stuff that turned out to be higher calorie than I thought... And since I still couldn't work out, there was no way to "work it off" with exercise. But yesterday started a new week, and I hit the gym (first time since my hernia surgery) with a vengeance. Did my full 30 minutes on the treadmill at 4.0 mph, plus the 5 min cool-down at 3.5, then hit the weight circuit for 11 of the 13 machines. I skipped a couple that would have strained the surgery site, and went a little lighter on a few of the weights - especially after a 4-week layoff. Then to the pool for 20 minutes of water aerobics. Would have gone the full 30, but I got there late and they closed the pool on me... My own fault for being late, I guess.
