506.5: All time high 9/9/9 - BMI = 63.3
377.0: This Week 6/5/11 - 0.8 lbs gained this week - BMI = 47.1

129.5 lbs lost from my all time highest weight.

Well, the scale doesn't tell the story of this past week.  It moved 0.8 lbs in the wrong direction but boy do I feel thinner than ever and I feel good.   I went to Planet Fitness 6 out of the past 7 days and did 60 minutes on the elliptical each time on level 2.  Burned 4800 calories on that alone last week so am not worried about the scale at all.  Feeling very strong.  I don't think that I've exercised that many days in a row ever!!  I also had 3 softball games that I coached this past week.  Two of which I pitched the entire game to the girls and one that I pitched batting practice for.  I would not have been able to do that this time last year.  In fact, I was sitting in my Big Daddy 600 lb capacity folding chair on the sidelines watching my girl's softball games and wishing I was out on the field to help my girls.  That is a huge FART for me and feels wonderful.

Caught a Pawtucket Red Sox game with fireworks and had a few graduation parties during the past week and really didn't eat much at any of them.   I made good food choices and made sure to supplement with shakes.  I have noticed that it is really not a problem any more to go to these events and not eat unhealthy food.  I am really not hungry and I think my anxiety about mindful eating takes over in backyard cookouts or public situations and I really don't like to sit and eat for 30-60 minutes during these.  I'd rather grab a cup of coffee and go socialize or enjoy the event.  It is really liberating to no longer be tied to the buffet table or snack bar.  Hard to explain but I'm feeling like my addiction to food has somehow miraculously been removed from the equation.  Maybe its mind over matter but it really feels like there is something else going on in my brain and I don't seem to have the relationship with food that I once had.  I honestly hope that this feeling lasts because I am enjoying the company of my family and friends much more than I ever did and I like just chatting.

I have found that I watch other people eat now and internally criticize their food choices.  I don't know what this says about me but it truly is a strange feeling that I have never, ever done in my life or ever cared about.   I guess after all of the education, mindful eating training, etc... that I have become very aware of food and my relationship with it.  Oh well, enough babbling about this but just wanted to put it on record so that if I read back in the future I can give myself a reminder of what I should be doing and how my relationship with food should be.  Eat to Live, not Live to Eat!!

Anyway, about time to head to the gym and begin another week.  I'm going to try and throw in some weight training this week.  Need to work on the guns!!  :-)  I am also going to increase my calories a bit this week and add a little more protein.  The family and I are going to have lunch with my father-in-law today at his Alzheimer's Facility and then we have a makeup softball game this afternoon and a coaches meeting tonight.  Softball playoffs tomorrow and hopefully we can pick up a win and move on because it is single elimination!  Go Blue Jays!!

Hope everyone has a great week and remember to STAY HYDRATED!!

Well the honeymoon stage continues:)  and I likey:)   Every Sunday when I get up and get on the scale I'm always waiting to see it go up once and to my amazement it keeps dropping.

Some more long hours at work the construction season in Mn continues to get busy.  Got up yesterday painted the deck and porch, delivered a truckload of mulch, and then went out to the lake to catch dinner.  Then went out out busted a move for the first time in awhile minus all the drinks.   It was weird to get hit on by some gals that wouldn't of noticed you in the past. Going to get to my first support group meeting Tuesday.

Have a great week everyone.

Still maintaing. Had a small gain this week, but still well within my comfort level. Hit the local outlet center on Memorial Day and was pleasantly surprised again by sizes and figs of clothes. While I'm glad to be continuing to size-down even without weight loss, the continual weeding clothes out of the closet has become expensive. What I am not spending on meals, I'm putting into a wardrobe that is quickly changing. It could be worse, huh? Have a good week guys.

Looks like my weight is stabilizing and the unwanted loss has stopped. I hope to stay around my current goal weight of 190 lbs. I’ve worked with my NUT and adjusted my daily intake goals. I’ve also traded some of my cardio exercise for more weight training. It’s been a very good week for me.

Getting ready for a job relocation to Oregon in a couple of weeks. Very happy to have met my goal and get things stabilized before setting up a second house in another state. Have already researched the area and found a WLS support group.

Cleared to re-start light exercise, but still no water aerobics for another week, and I have to go easy on stomach exercises. But I'll take it. Tonight will be my first time back on the Nordic Trac for a while, and I anticipate "pain" from that...

I changed the way I track my weight loss in the list above... Got the idea from someone who asked how much I lost at what phase of the program... Now I can see that in March and April, when I though I was really stuck, I was still losing, just more slowly. No matter, even in March/April, I was changing sizes pretty dramatically, so I never really worried about it. One day at a time, right guys?

Just noticed (didn't catch it until just now) that my BMI dropped from the "Extremely Obese" category to the "Obese" category...  Whew - what's that smell?

Oh yeah, can smell that all the way up here in Massachusetts!!  Congrats on being Obese!!    Glad to hear that you are able to exercise again.  Take it slow and good luck.
