I'm posting this for two reasons: 1) to brag and 2) to encourage others!

Seven months ago I weighed in at 404 lbs.  I had RNY and in that time I have lost 175 lbs.  This past Saturday I scaled Mt. Monadnock in Southern New Hampshire!

The people on this board were instrumental in helping me decide to proceed with the procuedure, so I want to thank you all!

Here are a couple of photos:

Nice work. At my high weight, I went on a trail hike with some friends and was embarassed when they had to leave me about 1/2 way up a mountain near Keene. Not sure what mountain it was because it was probable 10 years ago. In two weeks I will run the Mt. Washington road race to avenge that day.

Congrats on your awesome day!
Scott

I know the feeling of wanting a shot at redemption! I took a ground fighting survival class two years ago and could barely get past the warm-up. I was highly embarrassed to say the least. I realized then something had to be done. I did not realize how out of shape you can get in just 4-5 years of minimal activity and not working out! I am now 57 pounds from my high weight in just over two months. I have since contacted that instructor and informed him that I would be returning for a redemption class! I look forward to being back in shape where I need to be. Obesity was endangering my health in more ways than I imagined!
