Using Anti-inflamatories

I have the same problem. My surgeon just prescribed Ultram. Works great.

I was told that you cannot use NSAIDS at all with the RNY. This was a big bart of why I chose the VSG instead. Don't risk it. Go get a shot in the knee instead... Craig

On the holestic side of things, I'd recommend you take alfapha pill. They're available at most health food stores. Over time they help lessen the pain. It's not immediate relief but it's an option.

According to my surgeon they are a no-no with VSG as well.
