Went golfing for the first time on Monday and came down with a serious case of the flu. Missed a day of work and no gym all week. Hopefully will be back feeling good tomorrow and will get back on track.
I thought golf and darts would get a lot easier, but it almost seems like I'm like a beginner again at my favorite hobbies. Can't wait to get back out fishing in a couple weeks if we ever get out of winter here.
I have noticed I've begun to show signs of not liking to be out in public. I just can't tolerate stupid people and drama anymore.
That's part of the the program that you don't hear about. Hang in there and try and refrain from slapping the **** out of somebody - even if they have it coming!
Never, and I mean NEVER, trust a fart!!

Highest Weight: 310 lbs
Surgery Weight: 300 lbs (on 08 Oct 10)
Last Week’s Weight: 197 lbs
Current Weight: 195.0 lbs
Total Loss: 115.0 lbs (from highest weight)
Total Post-Surgery Loss: 105.0 lbs
Weekly Loss: 2.0 lbs
Still dropping slowly even though I’ve started to re-adding some carbs to my diet. Had my first spoonful of pasta this week but still carefully tracking my intake and exercise. Looks like the body is going to keep adjusting until it reaches an optimum weight. My personal goal is to get to 190 lbs.
I'll be traveling on business the next two weeks and away from the scales. Here's hoping the weight remains stable or continues to drop.
I’ve lost the equivalent of a 2-month old horse, a human head, and a rack of baby back ribs.
FART for the Week:
I went to buy another pair of jeans for work. I immediately went to the “relaxed fit" rack and the salesperson came up and asked why I was selecting these jeans. She suggested I try a regular cut. Couldn’t believe they actually fit and they look a lot better on me than the relaxed fit cut.
And for Don, here’s a link about tower climbing you may enjoy. (BTW, want to come help when I put up my ham radio tower??)

Hey guys. Still working towards my surgery. Feeling better than i have in years. Its nice to be able to go for a walk, a few months ago I was having a hard time just getting around the house.

I finally bought some new clothes, I'm still going to big and tall, but this time. I don't have to order for a catalog because they don't carry size 68 jeans and 8x/7x shirts.
I bought 2 pair of Jeans, a pair of brown cargo pants, and 5 4x shirts.

Forgot to weigh myself this morning, so using yesterday's number, which hasn't changed from last week. Not too worried - but the timing kind of sucks... Will see my surgeon on Wednesday for the 6-month follow-up. Wonder if he'll recognize me?
This tendonitis in my left arm is still keeping me from lifting, and flying the airplane yesterday was kind of "interesting" at times. I can "pull" OK, but "pushing" is pretty difficult. Ironically, the hardest thing for me is to push the darn button on my deoderant can... Hurts like heck! (Don't worry, I grit my teeth and use the deoderant - the world is safe!) So for now, I'm concentrating on cardio, and I'm going to go back to "basics" on the diet...
Speaking of cardio - I'm off to the Nordic Trac! Too "yucky" outside to even try to go to the gym. It's 46 degrees outside, windy and rainy. Yesterday it was 94 degrees and sunny at the airport. Got to love North Texas weather!
