Thinking positively
It's really not all that late, but I have a part of a song going through my head that goes,"you've got to accentuate the positive, elimate the negative"' from an early 1950s song probably sung by Doris Day. My Mom use to sing it a lot.
I guess ti's going through my head because I'm going to go back to using the Beck book about changing the way we think about food and eating. I took the self-administered program back in 2009 along with the post-op food plan I should have been on. I lost 50 lbs. I'm actually at a lower rate than I was when I finished, but there is so much more that I should lose. At 335, my knees are still killing me. Of course they hurt more when I'm standing, but they even hurt a bit when I'm sitting or in bed. And, I'm stiff and have difficulty just shuffling around early in the morning.
I still have the records of what I was eating back in 2009 when I followed the program. I can use them as a guide this time around. Bob
