Loose skin causing pain???
Looking to find out if anyone else has experienced this -
I, like most who have lost a lot of weight, have some loose skin. The loose skin is not a major issue as it is not that bad. Frankly, from an appearance standpoint, it is not extremely noticable, at least in most areas.
Where I am having an issue is on the sides of my chest, the area under my arms, but still part of my torso (if that makes sense). This is the area where the skin has been stretched by the previous size of my 'moobs' (man boobs).
As I have lost weight and the skin there has become looser (not droopy, just loose) any kind of motion that causes a jiggle in that area produces a very sharp pain. It started on just one side, but is now apparent on both sides. I think I am also beginning to experience a similar situation in my lower abdomin where there is a bit of droopier skin.
If I keep my arms down, therefore somewhat controlling the movement of the skin, the pain is almost non-existent. But when running, exercising, etc.....that is difficult to do.
Has anyone else experienced anything like this? What did you do?
Anyone have any thoughts?
Thanks!

No idea...but if you have the right insurance...document it up the wazoo... Your insurance could pay for plastic surgery!! Insurance companies only pay for ongoing medical skin issues...well documented. They may even fight a procedure submitted...but will have to pay if it is a real problem. Good luck, Brian PS I went to the local support group meeting on Monday evening. There was a woman (RNY) with a bowel obstruction...She went in for surgery and while the doc was doing the repairs, he threw in a tummy tuck at the same time!! No cost...Bonus
