Shock and awe
On Saturday I was in Wisconsin for my neice's birthday. So I decided to stop by the local thrift store, which is actually where Land's End sends their returned items that have been worn. The prices are insanely cheap. I tried on shirts and the 15 1/2 fit with the 15 just slightly too tight. And the size 34 pants and the 42reg sport jacket fit. (OK, the pants are a little tighter than they should be but my 36s are getting too big.) Holy crap! I still keep checking the tags to make sure I didn't misread the sizes. Then the woman at the register rang me up and then she said, "And of course everything is 50% off today." So I got a sport jacket, 2 dress shirts and 3 pairs of pants for $14.77. At these prices, I can actually afford to update my wardrobe until the weight loss settles down.
