Michael when I was a new post op, it was posts like these that made the weighloss process make sense to me...Simple and direct stuff.  Thanks for sharing and showing us how to work the tool and the support system.

I, too, have started doing protein with 30 minutes of waking up. I honestly think that helps. And, when I'm in a temporary stall, I increase my protein intake that seems to help.

I've found that I consistently drop weight when my protein intake is between 60-80 g per day. And I'm careful to space out the protein and not take more than about 20 g per meal / snack.

High Weight = 310     Surgery Weight = 300   Dr's Goal = 200   My Goal = 190

 Thanks for sharing that posting. It really gave me a sense of how we honestly do need support and was very helpful with the tip of doing the protein shakes. I will be honest i've been trying to get my protein in other ways, but I honestly dont think its working because i've been in a stall and my weight is'nt really moving the way it should. So thanks again for the protein shake tip, and i've already purchased my skim milk to make my shake first thing in the morning.
