Over 100 lbs lost!
Friday is my official weigh in day......as of yesterday, I am down 103.5 lbs since I started the process for WLS on October 5, 2010. Since surgery (12/8/2010) I am down 80.5 lbs........but I go back to the beginning, every pound counts!
I feel awesome - getting to the gym 4-5 days a week, running (who would have ever thought!), enjoying time with my family and just overall loving life right now.
I recognize I am still in the honeymoon phase and will be for some time, but I am working to use this time to change behaviors and do things the right way!
This has been an awesome experience and all of you have helped to support me along the way!
Thank You!

Weigh to go down, dude! I'm a chasin' ya, haven't been on the scale in 2 days, but I was down 96 last time I checked.... Ain't life grand - this old man (65) has a new attitude - and a new golf swing - just finished 18 and w/out the "moobs," I'm hitting the ball solid, like I did 20 years ago. Keep up your good - and hard - work. All the best - Pop-Pop

Way to go!!! It's a wonderful feeling to hit that milestone.
We had surgery about the same time and we seem to be hitting our goals very close to each other. FYI, I'm currently in a 2 week stall and my ketosis level has dropped to none. So, I suspect the next few pounds are going to take a while. Looks like my honeymoon is over.
Keep up the good work and I suspect you'll soon pass me up on weight loss.
OUTSTANDING McGee!

That's fantastic! It feels so good to hit those milestones, doesn't it?
And OF COURSE you count the weight loss from when you started the pre-surgery weight loss process. That IS when you started your WL journey. Your surgery was ONE of the tools you have learned to use, but I'm every bit as impressed (maybe even more so) with the guys who lose a bunch before they have the surgery - because I know how hard they had to work at it. Not that life is a piece of cake (sorry - bad analogy) after surgery, but you know what I mean...
And by the way, for every time one of us has helped inspire you, you've helped to inspire one of us. Thanks for all you've contributed here on the forum. Keep up the great work!
