That is absolutely amazing.  You are inspirational.  I started this journey at 506 lbs and could never imagine losing over 250 lbs or more to be "normal" or at least at a healthy weight but reading your posts and others on this forum has allowed me to believe that success is possible.  Keep up the good work!

9/9/09: Highest Weight: 506.5 lbs              9/20/10:  Tufts Start Weight: 492.4 lbs

You CAN do it and You WILL!  Use this first 6 months to change your relationship with food!  The weight will come off.....that's the "easy part!  Keeping it off is the REAL work!  If you don't change your "mindset"   you will NOT be successful W/ ANY surgery!  I know most guys don't like to discuss the  emotional/psychological aspects of this.....but I feel it is what will ultimately KEEP us at "goal" Good luck!  Remember they do surgery on our bodies.....not our brains!

Yes, good points and I will definitely keep those in mind.  They did hammer those home during our pre-surgical group and we continue to discuss at post-op meetings.  Thanks for the encouragement and again great job!
