Chest or thighs, which to tackle first?

 Hi guys-

Just wanted to get some perspective from other guys who have gone down this road.  I had RNY about ten years ago, belt lipectomy in 2006, and then thigh lift, mons lift in 2008.  Unfortunately the thigh lift, mons lift, scrotal reduction didn't go as well as planned.  Infection, pain, problems for many months and a result that requires revision if even possible. Unfortunately, I still have to address my chest and arms as well.

So, here is my question to you.  Given the opportunity, which area would you address first......Chest or thighs?

Hard to say without seeing.  My thoughts are get the thighs redone.  Have it done right.  Let it heal for quite awhile.  Then the chest later.  There is an expression that doctor use: "do no harm".  I would think the correction is necessary for the thigh...If the chest went wrong, you would have pain or lack of healing in 2 areas.  Not cool.  Someday (when my ship comes in) I would like to get a face lift...I have that turkey neck (gullet) thing going...

Congrats on what you have accomplished. My personal thought is to tackle the area that personally bothers you the worst. This is about making yourself healthy and feel good about your body, so indulge your own thoughts.

One question. I see that you had scrotal reduction. I have been very concerned that with the weight loss I have a sack that seems to hang to my knees. I have a lot of other loose skin as well that I want to deal with later, but the low-hanging ******** is a real problem for me.  Is the reduction worthwhile? Is this a common (although apparently not often discussed) issue?

LOL, Ken...  I had the "fun" experience the other day of sitting down on the toilet, only to have a certain part of my anatomy hit the ice-cold water, which sent me shooting back to my feet from the shock!  I thought I'd been bitten by something!

Took a while to realize I was "***********"...  Quite a shock at 5AM when you're about 1/2 asleep, let me tell you!

And here I thought it was only me ... shame all that extra skin couldn't have ended up just a few inches higher. I need to look for a plastic surgeon who does nut sack reductions, I guess. Wonder if they list that in the yellow pages?
