Today and tomorrow (25-26 Feb) JC Penney is offering $10 instant rebate in their stores. They're also clearing out their winter clothes and have some fantastic bargains.
Before surgery I wore 3X-Tall shirts. I'm now wearing L-Tall. In my local store I found a whole bundle of L-Tall shirts AND sweaters for $4.97!! Yes, shirts my current size for less than $5.00 ea. Then I got the additional $10 discount at the register.
Cheap clothing for those of us who can no longer wear our "fat" clothes.

This is an excellent post for those of us who are rapidly changing A couple of other places/opportunities I have been using that others may wish to check out:
Penney's also has an online outlet with dramatically discounted prices on limited styles/colors. Plus, you can find sizes for almost all sizes (shirts up to 6X for those early on in their journey).
I have also found excellent online bargains at Kmart (check the clearance section. I've found polos for as low as $2 - granted they are not Ralph Lauren, but as quickly as we lose weight early on, it is an inexpensive wardrobe choice.).
Also look at Walmart's online clearance items, which can be far cheaper than the in-store prices. Target has some excellent closeout items as well. Kohl's and Old Navy has also had excellent prices on certain items in larger sizes.
For those who have been forced to only shop in the big/tall shops where it is not unusual to pay $30-40 for a poorly made, less that stylish pullover shirt, these options offer some far less expensive choices for everyday clothing until we're ready to build a new permanent wardrobe.
