I ran at the gym today for the first time EVER!

Granted, it was not very long or very far, but I ran nonetheless!  I could not have done that even 4 months ago.  Amazing what a difference a short time can make.

I may be signing up for a 5K yet this year.

Happy Saturday.

Awesome man!!!

Allow me to make a suggestion. Find a local 5K some time in late spring and sign up as soon as you find it. There is no more motivation than that.

This is awesome.  I remember when I was able to start running again.  It was such a great feeling.  Do the 5K!!!  Make it a goal to complete and not compete at first.  I have to admit I am into the competition part of running now. I mostly compete against my best times. I will never beat the fast ones.  Last week I beat my best 5 mile race time with a 39:12.  You'll be surprised at what your legs and body will allow you to do as long as you don't overdo it and hurt yourself.  Keep up the FARTing.
