I'm really back mentally

If you've seen my recent posts, you can probably tell that I'm back to being "my normal" self.  I don't know how much different my normal is from others but I do know that it is different.  For example, I am rarely in a positive mood.  Today I feel fine and nothing is bothering me and I'm glad with that.  However, I do know that it doesn't take much to get me really annoyed.  I've bee having trouble with Verizon.net and I just let it pass for a day and was able to correct the problem.  At other times, I get pissed and punch the walls or scream and curse.  I just realized that part of the reason I feel better is that my wife is now at work and isn't home all the time.  I love her dearly and couldn't really function outside of an institution without her ( yeah, I get a bit melodramatic ).  But, since she's not home, she can't complain when I let off steam at life's everyday annoyances.  I was getting tired of telling her that I wasn't nearly as angry as I seemed.  Just yelling in my own house without anyone around to hear me was a good release for my pent up emotions.

I was uncertain of her situation since she now has to work as an independent contractor rather than as a regular wage earner.  I know it saves he new boss money, but we'll have to see an accountant.  I guess technically that my wife could take care of that herself but, hey, what else would I worry about?  Just trying to get an accountant to call back is difficult enough.  I think I'll have her call her couse who is a CPA but lives about an hour away and see if he'll take the job.

Oops, I'm starting to ramble on which means it's time for me to end this.  Thanks for all of your support.  Bob

Bob, you will not get a return call from an accountant or bookeeper during tax season, they are just too busy.  Here is a link to IRS schedule C.    http://www.irs.gov/pub/irs-pdf/f1040sc.pdf   If you separate her expenses in the catagories on the form as she compiles them the taxes should be easy to do next year.  Have her journal her business miles as that will probably be her biggest expense.

stay calm and have a great weekend.

Robert
