Pre-Op Diet Screw Up
Maybe your just not ready to take such a big step Robert. I toyed around with the idea of WLS 3 years ago, even started some of the pre-op screening, but when my insurance at the time required that I do a year long weight loss program first I said screw it.
I knew since then that I needed to make some drastic changes to get some weight off, but truth be told, I just wasn't ready. My mind and my heart just weren't into it. I matured a little more, and my thinking became a little clearer and I knew that I was finally ready to do this. But it took three years for me to arrive at the right mental and emotional state to make this commitment.
This is not a small thing, nor is it something that should be rushed into before your ready. You'd hate to make such a big change to your life and to your body if your not ready to handle the responsibilities and consequences that come with it.
Don't rush yourself if you don't have to.
