Compression T-shirt
Ok, so I finally went and tried one of these blubber-girdling devices on yesterday at the neighborhood Kohls.
WOW! I can surely see the advantage of this bad boy as the fat melts and the skin remains. I picked up an XL size to wear as an undershirt and smooth things out.
Thanks to those before for the suggestions. I'll keep adding these to the wardrobe over the next few months.
By the way, despite my prior assumptions, compression tees are not the same thing as performance tees. I thought the performance tee would accomplish the same goal, but instead it is intended to fit like a regular tee shirt with the benefit of being sweat-wicking and keeping you dry despite all the sweat. It's a useful shirt, and I've worn one under my regular t-shirt while running at the gym--though it might be loose enough now that I won't be embarrassed to wear it alone. The compression tee, on the other hand, fits like a sausage casing! it's tight everywhere, and intended to be. It literally compresses the body to keep the jiggling down and smooth us out. It has the added benefit of being made from the same polyester as the performance tees, and therefore is good for sweat-wicking/cooling as well.

I wear them when at the gym and sometimes when I am out. Becareful about running outside when it is cold wearing one. Areas tend to get chaffed so you may want to hide your high beams under some band aids.
