Super Bowl Sunday Weigh In
Very frustrating no change this week at all. Up a little down a little. I feel like I have been stalling out over the last month.I am just above 300lbs at 305. I think this was a weight that I stabilized at on the way up for a while, ut honestly don't remember
Wondering if my increased weight lifting and cardio is having an affect. I know intellectually I am doing the right things. I do feel better and close fit better. Still curse that scale!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Crispy, you're doing fine, man. You nailed it when you said "wonder if my increased weight lifting and cardio is having an affect." Muscle weights almost twice as much per cubic inch as fat does. So if you're putting on muscle, and staying even on weight, you're losing fat, big time!
I went through almost 3 weeks with very little weight loss, and I'm sure it's because of the increased exercise levels. I could see the difference in my body, and could definitely feel the difference, only the scale said I hadn't lost anything (or maybe a pound). Then this week (stuck at home without being able to get to the gym - just working out on the Nordic Trac) I've lost about 5 lbs. Go figure. Personally, I'm not all that concerned with what the scale says in the short term. Long term, sure, but not day to day or even week to week. I KNOW I'm doing what's right for my body, and the weight WILL fall as long as I stick to burning more calories than I'm taking in.
So go ahead and curse that scale, but keep doing what you're doing, and don't obsess about the scale numbers. Look for all the NSVs that come your way, no matter how small they may be. Rejoice in them, and stick with your eating and exercise plans. You'll break 300 in no time. You'll probably beat me there - I'm at 315 as of this morning - but in the immortal words of Scotty "I'm givin' her all she can take, Cap'n!"
Keep on doing the right things!
