Good morning Gents. I reintroduced myself over on another board yesterday, but plan on getting involved around here too. Early on in my journey I lurked around here, and got a lot of great info and comfort, and have decided to join in and perhaps pay it forward a bit.

Anyhow, the name is Will, 27 years young, live in "sunny" California, work for Uncle Sam, had one hell of a journey since my RNY on 08/04/2009 - if I woke up tomorrow and had to do it all over again I absolutely would. As I settle in here, I will fill you in on some of the amazing things this gift from above has given me.

Thanks for all of you that came before and still stick around here.

That's pretty amazing, Doug.  And what great proof that you were doing everything right all along...  There are just times when your body says "No mas!" and stops for a while.  Keep up the great work.

Highest Weight: 310 lbs
Surgery Weight: 300 lbs (on 08 Oct 10)
Last Week’s Weight: 222 lbs
Current Weight: 218 lbs

Total Loss: 92 lbs (from highest weight)
Total Post-Surgery Loss: 82 lbs
Weekly Loss: 4 lbs

Ketosis Level: 15 (light)

I’ve now lost the combined equivalent of a new born calf and a rack of baby back ribs.

My ketosis level dropped dramatically this week which is a concern. But, I did “cheat" last Sunday (after weighing in) and had a slice of cake. That was the first intentional carb intake since September. So, no more added carbs for me.

Also had a couple of bad bouts when trying to eat pulled pork. The pouch just doesn’t like that meat (yet).

High Weight = 310     Surgery Weight = 300   Dr's Goal = 200   My Goal = 190

Actually don't like either team but as a Bears fan, hate the Packers more. So "Go Steelers".
