Sunday Weigh In and who is your pick for next Sunday?
Welcome to the Weigh In!
Don't fret too much on trying to get all the protein and water in during the first few weeks. It is a goal to shoot for. Stick to your schedule and amounts and increase them when you are able to.
Being a Bears fan can understand your pulling for the Steelers!

I’ve now lost the combined equivalent of an Irish setter, a Bald Eagle, and a guinea pig.
And, next Sunday I'll be hoping for the Packers. Already got in the pool at work and hope to make some money on the game.

root for the packers, the steelers don't need anymore rings.
I'm been sick with a nasty cold all week and haven't eaten much, but got the fluids in. I'm surprised I lost as much as I did.

Not a huge weight loss this week (only 2 lbs), but I'm still building muscle and getting more and more in shape. Total weigh lifted during my sessions has increased by more than 20% this week alone, and by 50% since the beginning of January.
I'm starting to have people stop me in the hall at work to comment on how much weight I've lost and how much better I look. One of my good friends who has been working on another project and hasn't seen me since before Thanksgiving did a huge double-take when I walked into a meeting he was in... Said he couldn't believe I was the same person... I have to go buy more trousers today - the "new" ones from a just before Christmas are almost falling off me... Wonder what size I'll fit into today? This is crazy, but pretty cool!
All in all, rather ironic, because I've actually lost less weight in the past two weeks than in any single week since the RNY. But I'm sure it's the old "muscle weighs more than fat" thing in operation here...
As for the Super Bowl, I'm rooting for the "little guys" who created those cool Doritos ads to kick ass again, and beat all the "big name" agencies who spent millions of dollard on their ads... OK - and in that football game that shows up occasionally during the ad blitz, I'm hoping for an exciting, high-scoring game, but expecting a somewhat dull, defense-dominated contest. I'm not really a Packers fan, but I really like Aaron Rogers and Clay Matthews. I just cannot bring myself to root for Rothlisberger, and I'm pretty tired of the Polamalu "hair" thing... So I guess this disappointed Cowboys fan will stay within the conference, and root for the Packers.

Why NFL quarterbacks need to keep their names short….
Compare the short name…
and the long name …
Any questions?

56.5 lbs since November!!! WOW!
78.5 lbs since my highest!
Not a big fan of either team, but pulling for the Steelers, as I like Tomlin, and can't stand how the Packers made the Falcons look like they didn't even belong in the playoffs...let alone have the best record in the conference.

Not a huge loss but I am gaining some good muscle definition. Seems I have a hard time losing when I am active during the week but come the weekend I end up loosing a few pounds. Over all I am satisfied at this point.

Okay. After a crazy January, I can see that the scale has been moving the wrong direction. Even though I'm well under my goal weight, this is a key test to my ability to maintain my weight loss. So, this week I'm going to move the scale back the other direction by exercising and tracking what I eat.
Have a great week!

I have been trying to cut back on my simple carb. I had outpatient surgery (bladder stones) 2 weeks ago and had to go home with a catheter and urine bag...couldn't pee. I have been working 6 days in a row so that will help with the weightloss and maintaining. Tomorrow I hope to ride my bicycle for the first time in weeks. I have really missed that old friend.
I probably will be working on Sunday so don't care that much about who wins. Hope Rogers does well (I'm a Cal fan). Brian PS Just weighted myself again...(Scale Whoore)...I'm 213.5!!
