Soy Milk and Almond Milk (OT)
ok this isn't a which is better kind of thing but I just want to take a minute and say how much I can't stand these names. If I look back to high school biology I seem to remember the fact that Milk comes out of nipples. Doesn't matter what it is attached to boobie, udder cats abdomen. Last time I looked at a soy bean or almond they both lacked the required parts to produce milk?
So why do we call them milk? I believe it is because no body would drink Soy Juice, almond juice might be a bit more doable but I doubt Soy Juice would have ever become this popular.
Well Thanks for your time.

Ironically, I absolutely HATED soy milk (SILK) and Almond Milk before my RNY. My daughter is vegan, so no milk at her house... However, since RNY, I can tolerate it OK. Still don't love it, but it doesn't make me gag like it did before. Like you, however, I don't like the name. If the vegetarians love their veggie food so much, how come they name and flavor everything to taste like meat or milk products? Don't get me wrong, I like veggies just fine, but I didn't claw my way to the top of the food chain just to each broccoli and carrots!
