Broke the Plateau

SO I don't know what I did because I was way busy this weekend and had a mother of a time tracking my food.  Didn't eat a lot of full meals because of my schedule so I hit the protein drinks pretty hard  I probably was about 1000-1100 calories this weekend.  Weighed after my morning workout and the scale read 221! BOOYAH.

On a different subject had my first real date night with my wife in Ages and since surgery, took her to the Linkin Park Concert in ATL.  It was totally awesome to not get out of breath and worry if I would get stuck in the seat or keep my arms crossed so I didn't hit in to the person next to me.  Yes I am some what a normal size now.  I told my wife to hide her T**** from the show because in a few weeks it would fit me.  I opted for the skull cap becuse my head is always cold.

In a couple hours I have my 6 month follow-up with the surgeon I feel so good about this appointment that I am going to weighin wearing jeans and not change into gym shorts and a tshirt like usual (never mind the fact they way about 4 pounds from sweat and stink like WOW).

For some reason just being active would break a plateau for me.  When I would exercise hard...My weight would remain.  But when I would be real busy doing stuff...Almost anything active, the weight would drop.  That's why I tell people to wash some windows or clean out the car...it worked for every stall downward.

Hey Paul - a BIG CONGRATULATIONS to you!  You really have done an awesome job and made great progress!  Keep it up!  WOW over 100 lbs!  Next time you are at the gym, go pick up two 50 lb free weights and walk around the gym with them...Then remember, THAT is what you used to carry around ALL the time!  When ever you feel low or get frustrated...do that little exercise.  It will clearly demonstrate what you have accomplished!  Again, CONGRATS!  Oh, and ain't it fun to go out with your honey and enjoy dating again!!  All the Best!  Mike

Paul, congrats on your success. For only being 6 months out you're doing great!!

Isn't it amazing to be able to fit into a "normal" chair and be comfortable?!? It's things like this that have me grinning from ear-to-ear.

High Weight = 310     Surgery Weight = 300   Dr's Goal = 200   My Goal = 190
