MAJOR NSV!!
So the other night I was near Flint and decided to stop by a Mens store there that I used to love to shop at -- it has been over 5 years since I have been there....cuz there really has been no joy in shopping once I got BIG~......I used to love to shop for clothes and great buys.....anyway- before surgery at my highest I was a 44 waist-- I have all sizes in the closet down to 38's - I really put most of my weight on the last 2 years....anyway, I thought I would stop and look around.....there were some pants I really liked and thought WTH I am gonna try em on.....I grabbed the 40's and off I went-- whats this-- WAY TOO BIG! grabbed the 38's still big!! grabbed the 36 and BINGO-- they fit like a glove.....I jsut had to sit there for a minute - the salesgirl asked me if something was wrong-- I honestly thought I was going to cry.....I told her I had just lost a lot of weight, and had not been a 36 in probably 10 years.....so I just wanted to enjoy this moment....well of course I had to buy them.......
If I do not loose any more I am happy! but I am less then 2 months out so I am bound to loose more! YAY~!!
just had to share.......

Way to go!! You're doing great is such a short time.
I've recently had a similar experience. When I went in for surgery my waist was 48". My regular work attire is jeans and about 3 weeks ago I bought a 40" waist. I wash them often and make sure to "shrink" them in the drier.
But, on the 15th we had tickets to the theatre and I "assumed" I could fit into a pair of my slacks from 10 years ago. I put them on and spent the next 2 hours trying to take them in. They were way too big.
So, I went shopping yesterday for a pair of slacks to wear for those times when jeans aren't appropriate. Imagine my surprise when I fit into a size 38" waist!! My goal is a 36" and I didn't think I was that close to the goal.
