I tried a variety of soy crisps and seeded low carb crackers
Not knowing where to start, I went to my usual source which is netrition.com However, you may do better by simply Google-ing soy crisps or Gernisoy crisps. After reading about them for a while, I still can't tell whether Genisoy is a brand name.
Anyway, with crackers, I could barely stand (actually, I felt like spitting it out but I was taught to eat my food because poor kids in other parts of the world are starving) GG Bran Crisp Bread. Think of the worse rye melba toast you ever ate and make it very grainy once the crisp bread gets soft. I had my wife taste it and she said it tastes like wet cardboard.
On the other hand, I liked all of the flavors of Doctor Krackers organic & artisan-baked whole wheat flour crackers with various seed combinations. I tried Smelt thinking I wouldn't like it but I loved it. I tried 2 other flavors and everything I tried with this brand was good.

The big thing is that one serving generally has about 8g protein, 8-10 net carbs, and 80-120 cal. It varies by brand and flavor. There is a lot to check on here. When I Googled soy crisps, one of the online stores is listed as a superstore than will compare prices for you if you give them the other company's web address. name, and a few other items. They'll come up with a price per ounce since it seems that you can buy different quantities. For example, one of the online stores only sells the crisps by the unit but there are 5 bags of crisps in one unit. They do not sell individual bags. You can decide if you want to buy single bags just to get the taste of them
By the way, I seem to be completely healed from whatever problem I had during the last week of Dec 2010 thru the first week and a half of this year. I was mentioning to friends and family that, maybe, with time, the brain regenerated better ways of transmitting info to my fingers. I was having a problem typing--I would think one thing but I was spelling words wrong--especially word endings. That was very frustrating for me. I couldn't even type when I tried to type slowly. I'm seeing and we are going to go over the results of my blood work and CT scan.
