Do any of you guys use the Bariatric Eating Website for information or for ordering supplements?  How is their protein supplement 'Believe'?  Taste?

Thanks

I haven't used them, but I highly recommend vitalady, com ,  The husband and wife who founded the company had WLS about10-11 years ago, and the founder of ObesityHelp, com contacted them when OH first started.  Their goal has always been to provide protein and WLS supplements for WLS patients.  They were among the few compnies to do soback then.   Most companies at the time including netrition.com also provide supplements to body builders.  There is nothing wrong with that, but you ( the WLS patient ) have to be careful when ordering products from them.  And, I have ordered products from both places in the past.  Vitalady knows that I do so and why.  We've been friendly over the years.  Vitalady knows the people who run netrition.com and does not have anything negative to say about them  She merely points out that netrition has a much larger target market field than she does.

I know from ordering from of them that vitalady has more restrictions on what she sends out and when she does it.  She is physically located in the state of Washington.  To safeguard delivery of products shipped in glass bottles, she does not ship them in the colder months from about mid Oct to mid April,  Netrition handles it differently.  My best example is with DaVinciGourmet syrups.  Vitalady only sells the sugar free & fat free versions SF/FF to her WLS clientell.  Netrition.com sells them as well as the exact same flavors (all 45 of them) to their clients who consist of WLS patients and bodybuilders.  Netrition.com is located somewhere north of NYC and they offer specialized packaging for use with glass bottles for a price.  That fee is only a few $ per order.  If you know that you are going to run out of a particular flavor, you may just want to order those flavors in the warmer month

The husband and wife who own vitalady.com have gone out on mini-tours just about every year spouting the value of supplemental protein and other supplements to WLS such as vitamins and minerals.

Look at both of these websites.  They each provide valuable information and you can order from either of them or get your products elsewhere.  For example, I'll order my fruit flavored SF/FF syrups from either one of them, but my wife buys me DaVinciGourmet SF/FF syrups for my coffee from Sam's club because they are $3 less per bottle.  But the flavors are very limited:  I usually get caramel, hazle nut, and kahlua to put in my coffee ( they are sweetened with splenda).  I think you can also get French Vanilla and a couple of other flavors.  They have a cheap price because they are dealing with a narrow selection of the overall product that appeals to a larger audience, i.e., people who want flavored coffee whether if be sugared or SF/FF since Sam's club does carry both.  Be careful when purchasing from them.

By The Way, my wife makes in-store purchases for me because I can sill only get around with great difficult 10 years after my WLS but it is coincidental to but not because of the WLS.  Bob

Pardon me for jumping in.... I was researching Bariatric Eating, and this post pulled up. I ordered the sample box from them a couple of weeks ago. I can honestly say, their Believe product is so yummy!! I ordered the try me of Vanillia Cream Brulee. AWESOME. They also have the best protein powder I've ever tasted. ALL of them. I just finished a glass of Chocolate Peanut Butter Fudge. To die for!!!! If you try them, you will not be disappointed.
