I've slowed somewhat in my weekly losses - this week's loss of 2.8 is actually deceiving since the scale showed a gain on 1.4 lbs on the day prior to last week's weigh-in - so I really netted a loss of 1.4 this week. I'm not sure if I am on an extended stall or whether I'm past the honeymoon stage and losses will be more difficult from now on.
I think that I'm finally ready to start some strength training. On my last visit, my surgeon suggested that I stick with cardio for a while; but I would like to see of this skin tighten up if only through muscle gain.

Ken, you're making great progress - even with the weight slow down.
I've starting doing some weight training. But, because of my work schedule can only do it one day a week. But, I've really noticed how much it's helping the sagging skin. Things are starting to tighten up.
Plus, I think that slower weight loss helps minimize the effects of skin sag.

Wow, i'm starting the new year off in a positive light way LOL. I went out with friends for new years, it was just great to get all the compliments on how healthy and great I look. I honestly didn't know people paid that much attention to how obese I was. All night long it was non-stop compliments. All i could say, was. Thank You.....
