Congratulations.  I want anyone reading your post to realize that WLS is not a magic bullet.  You faithfully work an aggressive post-op program including watching what you eat and progressing with your exercise.  I may seem easy in retrospect, but it does require effort.

I urge newer members of this site to look up the profiles of successful members and to read their Latest Posts.  Most of them are active on some Forum(s).  You gain strength in your program by aiding others.  Our Men's Forum becomes stronger as we help each other and weave the fabric of our support group.  Bob

Bob - Thanks and you are SOOOO Right!  As I have posted many times in the past, WLS is a "tool"...a damn good tool, but just a tool.  If it is not used properly, in combination with good nutrition and exercise, you won't get the great results and can actually cause harm.

Most of us who have been "successful" at this have used our WLS as a turning point in our lives.

I encourage you lurkers and newbies to check out the other posts and profiles.  There is a "TON" of knowledge, experience, and encouragement here on the Men's and other OH Forums.

For 2011 I wish you all Good Health!  Mike

Mike, that's great to hear.  I know you've really worked hard to get there.  It seems like just a couple of weeks ago you were stalled just above your goal weight.  But instead of getting frustrated by it, you kept doing what you knew was right (eating right and exercising) and you're now reaping the rewards!  Congratulations, and keep on keepin' on!
