Welcome to the losers bench. You won't feel "full" for a while because it take time for your new pouch to heal to be able to send signals to your brain that'll tell you your full. Also you won't feel full with liquids unless you try to down a bunch at a time which isn't a good idea. Just keep walking and sipping and let your DR. know of any unusual pains you might be experiencing that what they are there for to make sure you are OK. Don't stress yourself out to much. Merry Christmas and keep us posted on your progress.

Congrats~  I am a lil over 3 weeks and still have yet to feel like I am hungry...I eat, but mostly just to try things again and see if I can tolerate it.....

Hey my Cajun Friend - glad to hear all is go'n well.  Just keep sip'n, walk'n, and do'n what you are do'n...you're on the right track...It will take several weeks before your healed up and regain 'true" feeling in your gut.  Keep an eye on the temp...you taking Tylenol?  If it is not cleared up by 7 days/a week post-op, let your Dr know, if you haven't already.

Merry Christmas!  Mike

I would suggest you check the nutrition facts on Smoothie King before eating anything from there.  Not really very nutritious, especially compared to what you can whip together at home.  If you were an RNY patient, the sugar content would likely cause "dumping".  Still probably not a great idea to have that much sugar...
