Week 9 update, questions about tea/Splenda and other rambling
Week 9, lost 2.8 more for a total of 49.2. I thought for sure it would be 50, but nooooooo the weight loss gods decided to make me wait another week. Well, next weigh-in is the 29th, so it will be over 50 by then...by golly.
I asked the Spenda/tea ratio question before, but can't find it or the replies so here goes.
For people that make sweet tea with Spenda, what's the ratio of sweetener & tea per gallon or 1/2 gallon that you normally use? My tea maker makes 6 quarts if i don't use ice (I just fridge the pitcher) and I got Lipton decaf tea.
I was using 3 family size bags and 1 cup Splenda, but I had someone tell me when they make it, they use 1 cup sugar per half gallon and 2 bags of tea, which should make mine 3 cups sweetener and 6 bags. Just getting some opinions. I just made a batch that way and put it in the fridge for now, but this time added the Spelnda to 3 quarts of water in the pitcher first (as the machine holds 3 and I was putting it in top) and I never noticed before....that Splenda fizzes! I thought I had accidentally used Oxi-Clean or something lol.
