Protein
I haven't heard of this product and looked it up on netrition.com and they don't have it. They referred me to products dealing with prostrate health.
However, all is not lost. Syntrax makes several lines of protein powders and some of them have no sugar nor carbs. Syntrax Essence which only comes in vanilla and chocolate has 100 cal, 0 g sugar, 1 g carb, and 23 g protein per 1 scoop of powder. Syntrax Nectar which comes in various fruit flavors has 90 cal, 0 g sugar, and 0 g carb and 23 g protein for 1 scoop of powder. Matrix has 110cal, 2g sugar and 2 g carb ( ie the sugars are the carbs) with 23 g protein per scoop of powder. You can look at netrition.com to comparison shop the differences in prices for these various types of Syntrax. Syntrax makes another product, macro-pro which is much higher in cal, carb, and sugar, and different protein amounts. I suggest staying away from that line. You can buy wherever you want. I just find it easiest to comparison shop at netrition.com . Bob

We use pro-stat all the time in the hospital for pt.'s with nutritional deficits and pt.'s with wounds. I'm not sure if it available OTC. I've never tried it but you can smell the sugar when you open the package. If you say they have a SF version then maybe it's ok. I'd check the lable to be sure. You should also definately check with the NUT and surgeon first though, I am no doctor.
