Celebration - almost ruined!
Today I passed the 70-lb loss mark - five and a half weeks since my surgery. To celebrate, I decided to wear jeans to work - even though we're only supposed to do that on Friday. I got out the new jeans I had purchased about a week ago, and they're almost too big! LOL What a problem to have!
I just tightened the belt, and wore them anyway. Next pair will come from a "normal folks" store instead of the Big & Tall place...

Good problem to have. Don't go hog wild on buying new clothes. You really should ask friends and family to borrow clothes for a few months...Also look at thrift shops (Goodwill, Salvation Army) till you hit the size you settle at. My favorite jeans for the first year, were an old pair I got from my nephew...Go figure.
LOL - I didn't go wild at all... I had purchased a new pair of jeans with an elastic waistband that was a little bit too small for me - in anticipation of the upcoming WLS. By the time I was 2 weeks post op (and ready to wear something besides sweat pants for the first time) I found they were WAY too big for me. So I took them back to the store to exchange for a smaller size. The guy was very apologetic that they didn't have them in a smaller size, but they were the same price as the "standard waist" jeans, which were on sale (2 for the price of 1), and would I like to exchange this pair for two of the other jeans?
Well, I tell you, I had to think about that for all of about 1 second, and picked up a pair in the "one size too small for me" size, and one in the "two sizes too small for me" size... And promised myself that when I broke -70 lbs I could wear the first one, and at -100 lbs I could wear the second one. And today was the 70-lb day...
The only other trousers I bought were also on sale 2 for 1, plus discounted 15% for black Friday, plus because we bought another item for my wife, we got $50 off our purchase. So my trousers were about $1.59 each. (That's my story and I'm sticking to it. My wife, of course, says she got $50 off her boots... But what does she know?)
I wish I had some friends / relatives / neighbors who were remotely my size. (Or maybe not - don't want to wish ill health on any of them.) But I don't, so I'll have to just keep checking the thrift stores. So far, no luck. But I'm about to deliver a whole bunch of pants and shirts to them!

Wow, what a problem to have.
I can't believe your weight loss after just a couple of months. Wish mine was coming off that quick.
Just a suggestion for your next pair of pants. As my weight has come off I've had to go with a longer inseam. Seems that with the smaller waist I need a longer leg length or I'm wearing "high water" pants.
