I couldn't join a group in my area unless I paid a lifetime fee of $1,200. WLS patients who had surgery there did have to pay but it was a couple hunderd dollars less. I've been using OH as my support group. You can go to the forum for your individual type of suurgey for info about the surgery and still come to the Men's Forum for general suppoet.
This Men's Forum has been my support group. While there were sessions in my surgeon's group, they were attended mostly by women. I attended two, one with the exercise physiologist and one with the Nut...They were ok, but I've found alot more support and encouragement here and in the Exercise and Fitness forum. Mike
