New to the GYM...?'s
So I've reached a point now in my weight loss stage that I want to hit up the gym and start by not only doing cardio but some serious weight lifting. My main goal is to have a banging muscular body lol. I have never been a serious gym member other than a few cardio classes in the past. I'm wondering if I should hire a personal trainer for at least a month to get more comfortable in the gym and with using the equipment? Since I'm already on a high protein diet, I really don't need that much advising on the nutritional part. One more question I have is...what some of you guys wear to the gym? I've noticed that because I carried alot of my weight in my lower body portion that the loose skin tends to move when running or jogging. Maybe some opinions on good compression shorts?....or maybe the Spanx for Men?
A personal trainer might be a good place to start to make sure you are using the various pieces of equipment correctly. Make it clear upfront that you do not need or want nutritional advice at this point as you have a nutritional team.
I wear a compression shirt and some shorts, I haven't found a need for compression shorts yet. The shirt helps hold the loose stuff in place and running is more comfortable.
