Syntrax protein powder

I get most of my protein supplements from www.netrition.com but I noted over the weekend that I have to be careful when ordering the Syntrax products.  I tend to be cheap.  To that end, the last time I got powdered protein, I ordered Universal protein but it must be mixed with a blender and it simply doesn't taste as good as Syntrax.  You can mix Syntrax with a spoon or put your scoop of protein in a plastic bottle and later add your liquid and simply shake it up to mix it.  I also suggest looking at www.vitalady.com for more info.

Anyway, I found that Syntrax Whey Shake, Essence, and Matrix have roughly similar calorie counts, grams of sugars ( & carbs ), and grams of protein per 1 scoop serving size.  However, Syntrax Macro Pro has a serving size of 3 scoops with 84 g carbs, 52 g carbs, and only 37g of protein.  I personally don't think it's worth trying to break it down to the 1 scoop values.  However, you can make up your own mind by looking at www.netrition.com , looking up the manufacturer's name (Syntrax), choosing a product, and then looking at that particular product's nutritional info.  I'm not endorsing netrition.com;  rather, I'm saying you can get a lot of info on labels there rather than having to look at them is store aisles.

Both sites have their strengths.  You can order your supplements, flavorings, and protein wherever you want.  I know I have used other sites in the past.  And, my wife occasionally gets my DavinciGourmet Sugar Free syrups at Sam's place far cheaper than anywhere else around but they are usually only the flavors that blend well with coffee ( not fruit flavors).  I'm still unable to go shopping in regular stores and do my purchasing via the internet.  Note that some DaVinci flavors come in plastic bottles and others come in glass bottles.  Most internet sites will not ship the glass bottles in the wintertime since the glass may break if frozen in transit.  Also, note that DaVinci makes both sugared and sugar free versions of their syrups so make sure you order the sugar free ones.
