I'm only two weeks out but I keep thinking to myself i'm losing the weight slowly, although today makes two weeks, I have just been walking a lot, and haven't started my exericise routine, as i'm still healing from RNY.  Does this weight loss sound slow or normal?

16 pounds in 2 weeks slow?

Lots of people out there wishing they could do that.  Don't measure you loss against anyone else.  You are doing great!

You're not alone.  We all fall into the "sucker trap" of comparing our weight loss with everyone else's.  After several weeks of amazing weight loss, I got stuck at 350 for over a week.  But I just kept doing everything my Doc & Nut said to do, and this morning I've dropped 2 lbs.  Our bodies are unique, and they do things at their own pace.  You, my friend, are doing absolutely great, and should not be worried!

I missed last weeks weigh in because things were crazy busy.  I did pretty well over the holiday, but not as well as I would have liked.  Back to the grindstone now.

On a side note, I've got my first cold since surgery, and it really stinks.  Hopefully I can make it to the doc today and he can help me out as I'm unusually sesitive to URT Infections.

I'm Late to the party but here it goes

Heaviest:350
First Visit:325
Pre Op:307
Last Week:237
Current:234

Holiday was good, I cooked a small turkey dinner with just the stuffing and mashed potatos.  I ate a bit of everything and what seemed like a lot of food, it was probably more like what I should be eating as opposed to what I usually eat (Should eat 2/3-1 cup, Usually 1/4-1/2 cup).

I actually dropped 3 pounds over the weekend and ate nothing but turkey this weekend.
