What do you guys do with your oversized clothes??

I am currently losing weight pretty quick, i weighed 520 and wear a 5x-6x sweatpants or shorts and a 5x shirt, but i now weigh 438 or less and they are falling off of me. so instead of going and buying new clothes i thought i would see what you guys do with your stuff??

I have given a bunch to Goodwill and the remainder to a local church to distribute as they see the need. I've lost so quickly that much of what I've donated was nearly new.

I gave most of my old stuff to other people I knew or to the Salvation Army or Goodwill.

Either place is also a great place to shop for "temporary" clothes.  Don't spend a lot while you are losing.  Your sizes will continue to change and you will find "new" stuff you buy doesn't fit long.

I did have some suits taken in, but the cost really wasn't worth it.  I would have done better to buy some less expensive 'temporary' suits.

It is a pretty cool problem though isn't it!

A lot of people make them available at the local WLS support group meeting.  You can also find clothes you can fit in, or soon will be able to fit in there.

Just yesterday I took 15 pair of pants and 27 shirts to Goodwill. Shirts were all size 2XL and pants were 44. I'm now comfortable in 40 pants and XL shirts, but that won't last too long.

I volunteer at a nursing home that has a baraitric unit. I have donated some of my larger things to the patients. It acts as a motivation for them to keep losing and the truth is that it motivates me to keep losing too.
I do shop at Goodwill and have found several things there. Believe it or not, some still have the new tags on them and are usually $4.00 for shirts or pants.
