Major Fart
I sorted out my closets this morning and found 9 pair of slightly worn jeans that I fit into now along with 6 pair of slacks! Out with the 44's in with the 40's for awhile anyway.
Four inches down in pants size, down from XXL shirts to XL too, so many shirts are going to Goodwill today along with a dozen pair of pants.
My BMI is down to 39 from a high of 44 I believe. Blood pressure is ~ 110/75 now and my doctor has taken me off of one med for that already.
Feeling good! Now it's time to rake leaves from the yard, hopefully for the last time this year.

Great fart!
Heed the advice of those that say g easy on buying replacement clothes, as they to will be big in no time. I usually have 3 pait of pants that fit and about 7 shirts. It is easier to keep the shirts longer than the pants since they don't fall off. Before you know it you will be in the 30s.

I literally laughed out loud at your "easier to keep the shirts longer than the pants since they don't fall off" comment. Almost had that problem at church on Sunday. Saved by a "stretch belt" I bought a while back that is now being worn with about 12 inches of "tension" to keep the pants on. Now sure how much longer that's going to work, either...
Ain't it nice going into the closet and finding "new" clothes. I'm right there with you Bruce. Had my RNY the same day and also 5'10". Weight hasn't been coming off fast enough for me but now that we've moved into the "fish & chicken" phase, I think it'll be easier with getting more protein in with less carbs.
I stayed off buying clothes as long as I could.
In the summer, when I lost the bulk of my weight, I could get away with just buying a few pairs of shorts. But man, my 4x shirts looked like crap on me. My GF was always on me to buy new clothes and I told her no, not til I bottom out.
In the last few weeks, I'm really starting buy some nice new clothes. At places I would never walk into to. Like Abercrombie & Fitch, Aeropostle', Jos. A Bank, etc.
Yeah they cost more, but the quality is so much better then Wal-Mart or Target.
