Your Routine??
Slept when I needed.
Sipped when awake.
Ate when my wife made me.
Week 2:
Sipped every 10 minutes (used a timer)
Ate 7:30, 11:30, 6:30 9:30 snack (my wife made me)
Week 16:
I still eat when my wife makes me or I won't think to eat. Not eating will slow your loss, Ihave learned this lesson but still find it difficult to push beyond.

I'm in week one (VSG on 11/12), and find that I'm not interested in drinking all the protein I'm supposed too. I'm never hungry. But am afraid I'm not getting enough fluid, so I'm trying to carry a water bottle with me everywhere and sip when I think of it.
Yesterday (Day 2): two Bluebonnet protein shakes. Sugar free pudding cup. Sugar free popsicle. about 8 oz of water. Up and walking quite a bit. Comfortable in bed and napping as necessary too.

Week 2 - finally meeting dr's protein goals regularly, but difficult. sipping something liquid or protein all day long. Walking a mile daily 15-20 minutes
Week 3 - easy to get most liquids down. experimenting with soft foods, having more difficulty than I thought I would with those, but they taste fantastic after all the shakes. Problem is I can only take like 3 bites and I am full. Walking less frequently (3-4 times a week) due to work schedule and bad weather, but generally walking farther, around 2 miles.
I spent most of the time (when I wasn't out walking) sitting in my recliner, dozing, sipping, and either reading or watching TV. But I kept a pretty rigid schedule to make sure I got all my liquids and proteins in. Both my NUT and my Surgeon commented on my "compliance" with the program, so I guess I did OK. I think it was the 60-90 minutes of walking every day that they liked the most. (And it helped me get rid of some of the gas.)
Week one (clear liquids):
4:30 AM - Since I'm awake anyway, take morning meds, start the decaf coffee
5:00 AM - Walk with the dogs (15 minutes - increased to 20 minutes after a few days)
5:30-7:30 AM
1 scoop of Isopure Dutch Chocolate mixed in 1c skim milk (warmed), 1 c decaf coffee
Sip slowly, re-warm as needed in microwave
7:30-11:30 AM
8oz of Isopure Icy Orange mixed with 8oz Diet V8 Splash Tropical
Get up and walk around the house every 30 minutes or so
11:30 AM
Unjury Chicken Soup protein powder (sipped over 1 hour)
1:00-5:30 PM
8oz of Isopure Grape Frost mixed with 8oz Diet Ocean Spray Cranberry Grape
Walk with the dogs
5:30-6:30 PM
Unjury Chicken Soup protein powder
6:30-9:30 PM
SF Popsicle or SF Jello
Whichever of the two Isopure/juice mixes sounded best (another 16 oz)
Walk with the dogs
9:30-10:30 PM
Somewhere in here, I would get really tired, and go to bed.

I mention Progresso Light soups because after trying several different things pre-op, these were the best tasting, and least carb-filled soups. I especially enjoyed the Southwestern Style Vegetable and the Tomato Basil (which I must confess I didn't really strain - since there were no "chunks").
