Rode my bicycle with a local bicycle club that I belonged to thirty years ago. It was a beautiful day and ride.
Went grocery shopping to about five stores.
Raked and bagged all the leaves in my yard.
Helped my daughter rent a U-haul and drove from Youngstown to Cleveland to help her move.
My daughter, oldest son and me moving.
Yes, it was an upstairs apartment. No problem going up and down stairs. By the way, my daughter moved to go to her new job as a quality control tester for a brewing company. She's a microbiologist. All her friends envy her. I'm proud of her. Too bad I don't drink. She gets tons of freebies.

Herc, you are amazing - and an inspiration! I thought I did good just going up one flight of stairs and not having to stop to catch my breath at the top! But I can feel myself getting stronger every day, and can't wait to ride my bike again. Stairs - not so much - but good to be able to do it when you need to. LOL
My inability to go up even one normal sized step has kept me from many family functions. For example, I had to miss my niece's wedding and I can't go to my brother's for Thanksgiving. I'm losing weight again and I hope that continued weight loss will enable better functioning of my knees.
Your daughter's job sounds interesting. My brother is a food microbiologist specializing in studying botulism. He doesn't get any freebies (Thank God) as he says it's even more dangerous than anthrax. When they had that big scare with anthrax a few years ago, the Fed govt came in and had Rutgers increase security on his lab.
I'll be glad when I can simply walk a little more. The only cycling I get is with a stationary inclined bike. Actually, I sit in my chair and pull the stationary bike up to it and pedal away. It's the most exercise I've had in years.
