CONGRATULATIONS Jeff!  Glad to hear all is going well!  Keep up the walking...do what the nurses, docs, and medical team tell you.  Don't be afraid to take the pain meds, it's ok.  Welcome to the losers bench!

Sleep when and where you can...Use pillows in creative ways.  Allow the healing process to take place.  The pain near your bellybutton is where they put the camera.  It is hard to get the gas out of your system  The surgeon sprays air in and around the pouch to check for leaks...It may take a week or so for all of it to get out.  Some may even move up toward your arm or shoulder.  You'll be climbing the walls with bordom for the next few weeks, but it gets better and better every day.  Brian

Welcome to this part of your journey! Very glad the surgery went well.

I'm amazed at your pre-surgery weight loss. I believe that was a big plus during surgery.

Looks to me like you're doing things right. Keep up the progress and good luck with the next few days of adjustment.

High Weight = 310     Surgery Weight = 300   Dr's Goal = 200   My Goal = 190
