High Protein Breakfast
I've come up with a "new" high protein breakfast...In response to the question about calories, I've added the calorie counts...
1 scoop Whey Protein Powder (26 g protein) (150 Calories)
1 sm container Greek or Low Carb Yogurt (10 g protein) (70 Calories)
4 oz skim milk (4 g protein) (45 Calories)
Mix together to make a thick "sauce"
Stir in 1/2 cup High Protein Special K or other High Protein Cereal (10 g protein)(75 Calories)
Enjoy a 50 g Protein Breakfast, about 340 Calories
This is really great after a morning work-out. Its good to have a high protein intake after a strength building workout to build the muscle.
Have a great day.
P.S. for you recent Post-op guys - this will come later...don't try this until you are at least 3 months post-op and have been cleared by your doc and NUT to move to solid foods. Take it easy!!

Can the body absorb that much protein in one shot? I remember reading somewhere (don't remember where) that you really can't absorb more than 30g in a meal.
