Breast bone discomfort

I am 3 months out Lap RNY and have had great results. I have lost 65 lbs. and am off all my meds.

My problem, which is minor, is discomfort around my breast bone after sitting for a while. I don't know how to descibe it better really, I feel it mainly after sitting here on this computer for a while. I really don't know if you would even consider this relative to this procedure it's just that I've never had it before.

I intend to ask my Doc about this in a few weeks but figured I would see if you guys have experienced anything similar. Thanks

I may just have a good relationship with my primary, but if I start to have any new or persistant pain, I simply call his office and explain the problem.  He usually calls me back the same day.  You may want to call your primary today rather than wait a few weeks to see your surgeon.  The pain may or may not be related to your RNY.  You just don't know.  So, call your doc and discuss it.  He may suggest waiting to see the surgeon or he may have other suggestions.

The pain may be as simple as something as you need to adjust your posture as your body changes, but a call to your Primiary or Surgeon won't hurt.
