Pretty Awesome FART
My wife and I just got back from a two week trip to Europe to celebrate our 30th Anniversary. The entire trip was awesome. We flew from Chicago to Zurich Switzerland, then on to Milan Italy. We stayed 3 days in Milan and Lake Como. Then on to Amsterdam, where we boarded the Costa Luminosa for a 10 day/9 night cruise to Cork Ireland, Vigo Spain, Lisbon Portugal, Cadiz Spain, Barcelona Spain, then Savona Italy. We bused back to MIlan and flew home.
I had the energy and stamina to walk everywhere. Each morning while on on the ship, my wife and I worked-out for 1 hour in the gym. We saw parts of the world I will likely never see again, but sure would like to.
Did great with the food. I ate what I wanted, stayed away from sugar and made sure I got in my protein. I did not over-eat and in fact lost another 5 lbs while on the trip.
But here is the awesome FART...while in Milan, one of the Fashion Capitals of the world, we are walking down the Via Dante, a pedestrian street with stores and cafes. We happen into this Men's store, where they are having an end of the season sale. Buy 2 Italian made suits, 2 shirts, and 2 silk ties for less than what I would normally pay for one suit in the US.
At first I am skeptical, as it was oh so rare that I would ever find an "off the rack" fit for a suit. My wife finds this very nice gray light wool. The jacket fits me perfectly! I then try the pants...It's like they were made for me. She finds the second suit....same thing! The way these suits were cut and they way I now am shaped up, 85 lbs lighter, it was amazing!
So my souvenirs for the trip...2 great looking new Italian made suits. I never would have dreamed this before!
