27 days
Well, I'm 27 days in and no problems. I'm now eating mushy food and spend most of my day eating and sipping and still I'm only getting about 700 calories. I easily make my protein goal, usually getting between 65 and 75 grams.
My wife thinks I look smaller - I don't see it yet, but that was always my problem - when I look in a mirror I see what I want to see :) Last night we went out and I tried smaller clothes for the first time. Down from a 46 waist to a 44 (and still had bagginess around the butt). My shirt was a 2XL - down from my 3X, and it too was loose.
One more week and I can start having eggs!

700 calories is probably fine. If in doubt ask your RD. That is what they are there for. Do not hesitate contact them. My son can e-mail his, I cannot. When I asked, she said as long as the protein is there, I was fine.
You might want to pick up some Miralax. While I never had a problem with constipation, with all this protein and lack of veggies and juices, I found it to be very difficult and then I could not eat anything for 2 days (water included) 12 hours after drining 2 doses of Miralax (approved by my surgeon) AHHHH Relief! Now I take it every other day as a preventative. Absolutely NO taste to it and Very mild.
Eggs were a little difficult at first, so I gave them up for a few more weeks. Keep them loose. Do you use a baby spoon? Best suggestion I ever got on this program!
People will see your weight loss in your face and shoulders first. You are doing GREAT!

Excellent job! The body imagine stuff can be difficult to adjut to. I think I still look huge and don't believe I can see a difference between weeks. The things I notice are smaller like my wedding ring is loose on my finger, no wait now fits on my thumb. TOday I discovered I can wear my dad's watch with no extra links, and he was a skinny dude.
As for eggs don't get your hopes up to much. If you do scambled be prepared as you may not like them. I loved scambled eggs before and because of the effects of Keatosis think they are nasty tasting. I do like fried eggs (no oil) and actually eat the whites, I never did pre-op, mixed in the runny yolks.
