Are you sure, Finaldude? ..      We all have experiences in common no matter what they night be, and can lend a good ear (and sometimes some pretty helpful advice) on here ..

Just felt it might be too "drama-y" for the board.  Im feeling a good bit better about it now compared to when I started the topic.

She exploded Monday afternoon, which led to yet another fight, and before I knew it she told me I had to october to see make arrangements to keep our apartment if i wanted it.  Soon after she was gone.

Its gotten easier little by little, but still hard to pack up the life I had into boxes.  But got me a storage unit and filling it up this weekend, all my stuff will be out before she gets back.  Not really sure how I'm supposed to feel because, yeah we had issues prior to my RNY, and well they just never got better, she actually acted out more.

Plan for now is to get through the move, and take this time to live at the gym and do all I can to continue on my journey.

FART Notice:  The day she left was the first day I felt comfortable enough, to wear normal off the rack clothes.  From a 5X and TIGHT 60 waist, to a 2x and very comfortable 48.

Sorry you're going through this, but you have the right attitude and one great FART.  Keep up the good work, life will still be tough but it will get easier.

Your def not the only one who's experienced something like this.

I too had cracks in my marriage prior to WLS.  WLS isn't the cause of why I left my wife 4 months ago, but i do think in a round about way it aided to it, or excelerated it.  Things change.  Relationships change...somethings for the worse and it's unavoidable.

Starting over is definately not easy.  And even though I was the one who made the decision to leave, it doesnt mean its easy at all.  I'm starting from scratch.  Left my home, left all my belongings and just moved to another state.  I had to , to protect my mental sanity.  But humbling isn't even the word for it.  To start from NOTHING, not even a couch or a bed to lie on is.....humbling.  lol.

But slowly it gets a little better.  Still very VERY hard....and i mourn the life i previously had, while looking forward to a new life.

Hang in there.

Just wondering - do you two have any kids together?   That can make things a lot rougher in the separating  ..   But if not, count your blessings ..
