Ideas for boosting energy

I am 5 weeks out from RNY and have little energy.  In the old days a little sugar could boost that (for a short bit) but it is not on my list of remedies now.  My protein averages 75g per day. Somedays a bit higher and occassionally I don't hit 70. (But close)

I seem to tire quite easily when walking or doing any sort of minor yard work or activity.

I am looking for some ideas to help me boost my energy level.
Thanks guys!

I had the same experience.. After about 5 weeks I felt well enough to do physical labour
but my energy level petered out pretty quickly
I started taking some extra B12.. that seemed to give me more energy
also. I noticed on days that I didn't get a lot of protein I felt weaker, but you seem to be getting lots.
The only other thing that affected my energy was fluids. If I tried to work outside in the heat, I'd sweat too much.. and couldn't replace the water quickly enough.
Mostly.. it just seemed par for the course.. and my energy level increased  as time went on.
I seem to have lost a lot of upper body strength.. I'm sure my wife could beat me in an arm wrestle, but I now (almost 4 months) have my energy level back.. AND it sure is a lot easier to do activities with the weight I've lost
Give it time.. keep the protein up and I'm sure your energy will return.

Try to boost your protein (100 or more) and keep up with your vitamins.
