Hair loss!
So I've been living and enjoying life more since surgery. I've been riding a bike for the first time in 15 years, etc. But today I ran my fingers through my hair and literally each time I do it I find hair that has fallen out. I've always had longer hair and this is freaking me out. How long will this go on? If I have to drink 5 protein shakes a day to make it stop then I will. Please help!
Didn't anybody tell you that you'd loose your hair?
I actually didn't hear about this until after surgery either.
Supposedly it starts around 3-4 months and lasts a couple months
although some report it takes up to a year.
The hair grows back.. and it doesn't happen to everybody
but it's VERY common.
It too am proud of my "crowning glory" I'm 54 and still have very little grey
and a full head of hair.. So far I haven't noticed any obvious loss but my hair
seems a lot thinner.
Some people get actualy random bald spots. YIKES

Chris,
I'll suggest to yourself and John to start taking Biotin. It is OTC at Wal-Mart, Target etc. Helps with the hair, skin and nails. Should have heeded my own advice long time ago. Only been on it for a couple of months and making a BIG difference in all three.
