My RD moved me to CMC's Stage 3 yesterday. Pureed poultry & fish. Eggs (mushed up) oatmeal, cottage cheese, pureed squash, Stage 1 baby fruits, mashed white or sweet potatoes, Baby Stage 1 vegetables. All 1/4-1/2 c

Looking for preparation suggestions. I love fish and am looking forward to doing something with tilapia or flounder.  I had a scrambled egg this am seasoned with Mrs Dash. Very nice.  Hard part is not drinking liguids with it. Did take a full hour eating it. (Love my baby spoon).

I found this on Walmart.com.  Anyone used it?  It has a review from a WLS person

Also wondering about food warmers.  Like the ones they had years ago for baby foods. Anyone know of any?

Congrats on moving up the diet ladder.  I don't have any real suggestions as when I was at this stage I really didn't care about eating.  I lived on Mashed potatos mixed with hummus.  Hey it worked.

This phase was only 4 days for me.

just these past couple days have a really been able to eat as much as I am supposed to.  yesterday for bfast was 1 turkey sausage link.

Not the best cook so no recipe forth coming but like to get grilled fish, catfish in particular, when I'm out.

What about a coffee cup warmer?

Never, and I mean NEVER, trust a fart!!

Hummas BLEACH  BLEACH......  But I know what you mean about interest in eating. It is more a challenge to get in the protein & fluids they want.

I went shopping today and discovered:
Starkist premade tuna salad (gotta chew it up well as it has celery in it)  3 ox pkt no measuring!
Canned crab meat (my grammy used to make this for us)
Cottage cheese (tonight flavored with Mrs Dash table flavor)

But my dinner was....1/4 c ground chicken seasoned & cooked on stove top, then run thru food processor...with... a teaspoon or 2 of Boston Market roasted chicken gravy...Umm Good!

Also picked up some baby fruits and vegies but suspect I will need to add Splenda and Mrs Dash.

What do you all use for a sugar number in a serving?  I like store bought fruit flavored yogurt, but cannot find anything less then 7g

The best yogurt that you can get is a store brand from a Kroger Company store.  Kroger owns many brands depending on the location in the country.

They have a yogurt called Carbmaster, only has 3g per serving also has 12g protein.  If you do not have a Kroger company, purchase Fage yogurt.  The plain stuff.

I hope that this helps.

Egg, chicken, or tuna salad...Add low (or non) fat mayo, salt, pepper, and I personally add Mt. Olive Sugar Free Relish...Made with Splenda.  No I'm not a spokesperson...Just like their one product.  It may be hard to find...but well worth it.

Also cooked spinach and cooked mixed vegetables.

I'll add my vote for the Mt Olive No Sugar Added Relish.  They also have No Sugar Bread and Butter pickles and sweet pickles.   If I don't have the relish, I dice up some pickles and add to my chicken or ham salad.
Eating junk food and CRAP is not a reward...it's a punishment...

I'm not much of a cook, but when I want to add flavor to my warm food, *I use Walden
farms sauces-they are available in some supermarkets.   get them along  with their salad dressings from www.netrition.com .  Walden Farms products are sugar free, calorie free, glten free, but have a small amount of sodium.  I especially like their  scampi sauce although my wife thinks the garlic smell is too strong.  I just got the alfredo sauce and like that too.

The one thing I have found that gives me a little spice is Mrs Dash fiesta blend in cottage cheese.
