my pc crashed -have limited availability on wife's PC
someone will reload it next week --they're away on vacation. I can check internet and ommunicate thru here but don't have my e'mail. I don't think that matters much.
I must say that I was shocked with my reaction to the whole situation. I used to fall apart into a panic if I even got a little frustrated. I guess my meds are working.
At 6: am on Tues, I was fully protected on my PC. By 6:05 I had no coverage and couldn't even get the plan being offered--a company called ACTIVATE. I had a separate problem with them about 3 years ago. At first thought that microsoft was just telling me to activate my antivirus. i t was confusing. I just gave up. m y cousin told me to physically disconnect my ethernet cable So, my friend will try to help me next week and I can take my PC.to my cousin's if he is unable to do so.
Note: my friend is retired whereas my cousin works FT and runs an IT dept for a major insurer in NJ. So, it's partly a matter of not trying to overburden any one person.
I'm lost in dealing with computers. I'm having problems just typing this on my wife's netbook with WI-FI.
