Does this count as a romantic cruise

I promised my wife to take her on a romantic cruise someday.


Okay!  So it was a a cruise on the Cuyahoga River which was once so polluted it made Cleveland infamous by catching fire in 1969.  But it's still a cruise, right?  It still counts. Right?



Actually. It was a beautiful day.. We had a great time. We also walked around the city for a while. Then we dined at a very nice restaurant in downtown Cleveland afterward. My meal didn't make me feel stuffed and I didn't dump. I took the leftovers home in a box.

This is an example of more things I can do now after WLS that I couldn't do before.

I'd say "yes" and you were frugal in the process!

Very romantic!  I cant speak for all woman but I most of us would say it is not the big expensive things but the small things that count for the romance..... and the looks on both your faces tells me it counts! I am glad you both had a wonderful day.

 Dang, Herc .. how old is your wife (or, how much younger than you)?   She looks more like a daughter in that pic .. 

  I have a client though that I found out the other day is my age and her hubby is 25 years older than her .       They've been married 5 years ..   Is this a new trend or something?
